The process uses a biodegradable, non-toxic solvent with zero vapour pressure, so there are no traces of chemicals in the atmosphere or in the (biogenic) CO2 product. For QA this removes a frequent headache of volatile amines: proving that solvent hasn’t carried into the product stream. Cleaner input data makes audits easier and acceptance faster.
This solvent behaviour also reduces the risk of downstream contamination in processes that contact product, packaging or greenhouse environments.
