We typically use the Toploader automated fuel storage and feeding system.
This is by far the best way to receive fuel from off-site, complementing our boiler solution.
Trucks simply reverse in, discharge and leave. The Toploader does the rest, stacking it neatly, ready for the next delivery, whilst simultaneously feeding the wood fuel to the boiler.
No need for manual intervention or front-end loaders. Simple, tidy, and fully automated!
We generally recommend at least 5 days storage, to de-stress the supply chain and to last over long weekends. The Toploader can easily be configured to achieve this, and more cost-effectively than any other solution.
